Awesome shots K thanks for letting me see what I missed.
Too bad as you were the one who pointed it out. It may be awhile before the Ferraris are back, but they do have some other nice car events on Rodeo Drive.

Ferrari is in my opinion the most beautiful make of auto on earth. Thanks for sharing your great shots with the group

Seconded, just what I think. Though i'll admit a soft spot for Maserati.
I was leaning toward some type of Lambo, but I might start saving for that yellow 458 Speciale A.

Planes of Fame in Chino, CA.

This 1/3-scale NB9M flying wing test version is the only one remaining. It flies.

B-25 recon.

P-40N Warhawk.

Race planes. Some original, some replicas.

Folland Gnat.

Pilatus.

Fokker Dr-1 replica.

F8U-1 Crusader in the boneyard. The movable wing maintained a level fuselage on takeoff and landing.

"Unconditional surrender" looks to be modeled after the famous Alfred Eisenstaedt photo.

These Reno air race planes are here for a couple weeks.
Voodoo.

Strega.

1903 Wright Flyer replica.

The race pilot, "Steve-O" Hinton, is part of the museum family. He started moving the planes, so I stuck around a bit...

Volunteer working on a P-51 Mustang wing.

Welding.

Paint stripping.

This B-17, "Piccadilly Lilly", is under restoration.

I don't have any knew stuff, just an old 1D3 and even older 1D2N. Took these this week with the 1D2N and Sigma 100-300 f/4 + 1.4 TC.

Got a Canon SX50 superzoom for cheap a little while ago. Haven't used it much so far, but it is certainly fun to have such a huge zoom at your fingertips. Makes a handy spotter, and also not bad IQ. The image stabilisation works really well.

Figbird on power line
/6.5, 204.3 mm (about 1000mm 35mm equiv), 1/160, ISO 400, hand held.

Nice shots.
You seem to have had some visitors from Scandinavia to your soccer league.

Thank you.
Scandinavians were among the first European settlers in Puget Sound. Cultural remnants remain like lutifisk. Swedish is a huge (and highly regarded) hospital and health care system. I've always been a bit bemused with how soccer uniforms can "get away with" having advertisements in key real estate of the shirt.

TFS these shots from the show. Some nice sheet metal there. The electric cars need a external speaker to play a V-12 sound track when they're driven.
