Planes of Fame, Chino. There is a monthly talk, this one about the SBD Dauntless dive bomber.
The dive brakes kept the Dauntless from going too fast in a dive. A wishbone-type bomb rack moved the bomb far enough away from the fuselage to clear the propeller.
The rear gunner needed both hands to fire the gun. However, one hand is required to move the gun from one side of a stop to the other at the in-line position, thereby preventing the gunner from shooting off the tail.
This staff sergeant flew a Dauntless in the Pacific after Pearl Harbor.
Some other aircraft were pulled out into the open.
The only flyable NM9B.
Kaydet.
Hiller Raven H-23.
MiG-21.
Viking.
Some re-enactors.
What do you mean "hold this"?
