One from New Year's. Tried half a dozen ways to bring out the mountains a bit, but alas, this will have to do:

One thing about FF you still need to put a good lens on the camera to take advantage of the resolution. I use cheap lenses on my Canon 5D and could not believe how horrible the pictures came out.

I would have to disagree. You need to take care how you spend your money but cheap does not always equate to poor quality. This was with the Nikon 50mm 1.8D - £85 from Amazon brand new.

Well, my new D750 and 50mm F/1.8g arrived in the mail yesterday. I was playing around with it last night, setting it up to feel familiar and I took a few test shots.

Not going to win any awards or anything but I'm very happy with this shot.

The camera felt a little weird with the default setup of the front dial controlling aperture and the back dial controlling shutter speed so I swapped them in the settings. I am very happy that option was there.

I'm looking forward to the 85mm F/1.8 g arriving in the mail. It was back ordered and shipped on its own.

I haven't taken my camera out for a while now and when I finally do it was not a great day for it.

Your pictures never fail to impress
It also shows that an UWA is not a requirement for landscape photography.
