A few scenes from hike last weekend. While parts of the east coast here in the US are getting more than their share of snow, here we have a really low snow pack. The mountains and hill sides in the pano shot should be all covered in snow but they are pretty bare. And where there is some snow pack it is really thin.

Df, Zeiss 18/3.5 and the handhold pano 35/1.8G

Nice set. Many years ago I did several week-long hikes in that area and other beaches during xmas break in December. I hauled my Pentax 6x7 on several of those trips (pre digital days).

You should go check out Ruby Beach if you haven't already. There is a campground pretty close just south of it. Here is sea lion rock at Ruby Beach using my Hasselblad 500C/M on an early morning.
