atm, I only have the 25/1.4 and it is quick & accurate to focus..

I've got a 20/1.7 on the way, so I'll be able to report on it soon ...

and I've been eyeing a 45mm macro also....
Oh yep. My mistake, mine is an f1.7, could just be my copy too. It's in great shape though.

Did you notice any slow focus with the Em1 and pana lenses? I only have one, a 20mm f1.8 but it drags noisily on my em5ii. I read the panasonic bodies run a slightly higher supply voltage.
I owned both an em1 and multiple Panasonic bodies. The 20mm f1.7 was one of my lenses (version 2) and I never noticed it being slower on the em1 than say the GX8. But to be fair, while it isn’t a fast focusing lens I never really noticed it in my use.

Maybe I'm just spoiled. My copy is clunky and more than a little cranky compared to the little m.zuiko 25mm f1.8 or even the 17mm f2.8 pancake. It tends to stay home unless I feel sorry for it. I try not to say bad things about it though. I still might get a Pana frame one day, depending on funds and life of course(when you stock up on store brand oatmeal jic...).

I owned the 17/2.8 and sold it keeping the 20/1.7. The 17/2.8 was a much better lens than it gets credit for. I still liked the 20 better in many ways.

Yeah, I really want to like the little tank. It feels like quality stuff. I was actually hoping to get confirmation that it's a Vreg issue so I could use it as an excuse to get a pana frame for it to live on(oatmeal). :P Like I need another camera.

Also, off topic: Did my review on that 21mm limited in anyone's interested. :excited:

Drive by shooting.

Oly Em5ii M.zuiko 14-42 EZ
I spotted this collectors car parked in the sun last summer and had to pull in for a shot. I keep meaning to go in there but the guy owns half the county and is in his 90's and eccentric.

Year of the Cicadas

Oly em5ii m.zuiko 40-150mm @ 135mm
Going through some older photos and had to share this one. 2020 was the year of 17 year locusts(cicadas) in my area.

Nice one! I'm guessing you aren't downtown this week.
