but pretty damn good. I'm especially impressed with the value-for-money and small-size
Congrats on your purchase. Size (particularly weight: it's light as a feather) and price are where this lens really excels. In good light, capable of very nice images. A little flare prone, so I do recommend a hood with this lens.

Hi,

Got out for the first time with the camera properly since my bowels were operated on and had a little walk in the city. I specifically went with the 12-50mm zoom to see what it could do (and I still cant carry much weight and it was stupidly hot!). Only lasted a couple of hours before having to head for cover!! The camera was my EM5 which I must say I really enjoy, I have come from Pentax (K5) which I will still shoot but wanted a more compact system that could still be very capable. I'm lucky enough to be able to live here just outside Budapest.

All were shot RAW and processed in Lightroom 5, resized for the interwebs. I am also trying to get back into the swing of things after a daftly busy couple of years in which I have dropped the photography ball down a well it appears.....

Trains are in the media quite a lot these days... Hope Europe finds an answer to the problems ahead, with the spirit in mind we had for the last decades. Only together we can cope with challenges and represent the value the EU was founded on.

I've been here before, but not for a while.....

I've recently rejoined M4/3 with a GM1 and the kit, bought as I am on the road quite a bit, and although I love my Ricoh GR, having a zoom sometimes just works.

The last time I was in was with the E-PL1, got some good shots, and enjoyed using Pentax glass on it, but ultimately was seduced by the NEX, and currently with Fuji:

The GM1 is pretty decent, and I tried the RX100 series, LX100, GX7, X30 and a bunch of others before deciding on it. I haven't yet really put it through it's paces, but I intend to use it quite a bit.

Now, the kit lens with the GM1 is not bad, but I would like a faster wide-normal to travel with. Last time I had the Oly 17mm2.8 (as that was pretty much the only thing available at the time!). Do I pick that up again, or look for something else?
I'm not looking to break the bank, but am OK with spending a little bit.

I'm happy to travel with a wide normal and a short tele (probably going to be the Oly 45mm, unless anyone else has a better idea. Input welcome!
