Additional B/W from dp2Q. Raw adjusted in SPP, s-hi jpeg generated, import to Lightroom, minimum process to taste. Saving the X3F separately.

Nice shots Sigma2021, I like this one most out of the two so far (here's hoping you post more). I think the Foveon sensors render reflective surfaces great, very crisp. Which version of SPP are you using? By s-hi jpeg do you mean you're saving it at double size?

I'll add a couple of recent shots from the old DP1 I took at the weekend as always a joy to see more people sharing the shots from these cameras.

SPP version 6.8
The Super High (s-hi) are the largest jpeg. Stated to be 39MP. The black and white files are about 25mb in size.

The camera has been fun to use. At times shooting in the dark with the LCD in bright light - need to try the LCD loupe

Ahh yes, the LCD's on any of them is challenging in bright light, it's not great full stop on the DP1- if you get the loupe do share how you get on with it. There is something to savor using the Sigma's for sure

Nice clarity came through on the glass, you should come join in on the projects in the weekly challenges- they're not exclusive the Pentax cameras.

I got the loupe with the kit. Working with the Quattro first, then will use later. Thanks for the invite. Did upload a Fuji X100T image in the Fuji X thread

I'll have to check it out, the Fuji thread moves fast, seems to get as lot of posts (I get why, I've quite fancied an X100, tried an X10 and liked it, but not as much as the draw of other cameras).

just a check-in - I have an SD Quattro on the way to me for 12 days, from LensRentals....

looking forward to giving a Foveon a try (although, it looks like all the attention in here has died down)...

Nice. I had the dp2 Quattro. If you haven't researched online. Best to keep the ISO at 100. If you want to process the RAW files you will need Sigma's Photo Pro software. However from what I recall from my research, I believe the SD Quattro outputs DNG also. - the dp2 did.

I have recently acquired the Sigma Quattro. This shot was taken with the Landscape color persona, jpg format, ISO 100 with 1 stop under.
