ISO 12,800 max...?? Or is that meant to be 128,000? Seems really low for a new sensor.

Edit* Oh, expandable to 25,600, makes a bit more sense. Still low in comparison to competition.

New AF system is the only thing that seems radical from those specs. Everything else is basically catching up to competition.

We'll see how their new sensor performs. They're several years behind Sony. I think some competition will push Sony to deliver some new innovations as well, so I hope it's a good one.

The behemoth makes the first move....,

The 60D was quite behind the competition (K5, D7k).
It will be interesting to see if Canon has really stepped-up.
Perhaps better sensor in terms of DR and noise?
19 cross pt af is certainly a good step.

Looks impressive.
Anyone seen 70D launch price for USA?

I'll handle one locally in a few days after its released,
which is never an option with Pentax Dslrs & Pentax Lenses.

Low compared to the competition? I'm fairly certain there have thus far been exactly five APS-C cameras of any kind from any manufacturer that offer higher than ISO 25600. These are:

K-5
K-5 II
K-5 IIs
K-50
K-500

See a pattern there?

And I'm sure we all know what ISO 51200 looks like on those cameras.
