Can Nikon Ai and/or non Ai lenses be adapted to work on the K mount?

Hello All,
I want to know can a nikon Ai or Non Ai prime lens be adapted to to work on the k mount? If it is possible, which primes are worth adapting? I was looking at the 55 mm f/1.2 lens. Thanks.

it can be done; but it's easier, and less destructive, to mount it to a mirrorless like the Sony NEX, Fuji X, m4/3 or Samsung NX cameras. They can often be found cheap. You could potentially devalue the lens if you alter the mount.

I have a 28/2.8 Ai-s and 105/2.5 Ai-s that have been permanently converted to K-mount.
