Unlike the K-01 which I still find an ugly abortion I don't actually mind the look of this one. The curved ends acutally evoke visions of a foil electric razor. Perhaps it could double up as one

Interesting and probably not suprising to see the "I'm so superior design snobs!" over at DPReview castigating people's subjective opinions for not understanding or being educated in design. Aesthetics are subjective and sometimes people just don't like something.

It's nice to know that Mark seems to have learned from his mistakes. K-02, anyone?

Wow, this is much more attractive than the K-01. Maybe it was the collaborator who was responsible for it. Or maybe Leica said "it still has to look like a Leica." Either way, I like it quite a bit.

A brilliant example of form over function - what the hell happened to the screw thread for the cable release? Or the shoe mount for the "Thumbs up" grip?

Moronic blingy accessory.

That is what I find so wrong about this camera - besides these special editions aren't designed to ever be used. They are designed to be kept in glass cabinets, never to be touched by a photographers hands.

Wow an Apple iM.

IMO, this design kind of make the camera look cheap.

So, Leica looked at their own designs and then at the K-01 and thought: "We gotta hire him!"?!? That doesn't really make any sense.

I don't see much design influence from Marc Newson on the camera. It's basically just Jony Ive applying same design elements as used for Apple.

iPhone users don't understand what hotshoes are for and see no need for anything but the little LED flashes

Ditto, it's less ugly than the K-01. But it's more Ives than Mr. Ugly.

The lines arround the shutter speed selector look so confusing to choose a speed quickly....

That metal screen look on the body just screams that it would get dirt and grime mushed in there that you can't clean. Most will collect it rather than use it, I suppose.

I bet 100% of the users will never use it. After all this camera will be produced in a volume on 1.
If there ever was a collectors digital dream camera, this is it.
