I did some ground level shots with my X100T using the Fuji app on Android. A bit fussy to establish connection, but it did give a live view and I triggered the camera from the app.
Not on the ground, just held very low, focus at infinity and re-frame. I've actually never used the phone connection to take a picture, though I did once connect it to see how it was.

Using the Fuji remote app with X100T. These tree stump houses are about a foot tall. Camera on 3-inch tripod. Live view in app allowed for camera positioning.

From a recent trip to Woodbridge, UK. Xpro3 and Meike 28. These are SOOC as I transferred directly to phone and then decided I don't need the raw files.















This one is from this morning as a contrast from the other side of the continent , SOOC again.
