As far as I know, new 85mm 1.4 is not available for Pentax, so why should these be any different?

The only way you'll see MC-11 like adapter for K more is if Pentax launch a mirrorless K mount body..
Don't they already have one in the K-01?

The 24-70

Looks about the same size as the Pentax D FA 24-70. No great loss when it doesn't come in K-mount. Same goes for the 100-400. 5-6.3 We have a 150-450 4.5-5.6 though the Sigma is a lot more compact with a 67mm diameter instead of 86. And probably also cheaper and lighter.

Oh the 14mm is 1.8? So that makes it pretty much the fastest UWA on the market? If it's sharp wide open, that'd be a great option for astro - lower iso needed, cleaner files, more DR to play with etc. I'm sure most of these will be great lenses

The Global Vision lenses are swappable from mount to mount. Which could be handy if you have a nice copy and are switching systems.. get to keep your Sigma lenses. Well.. as long as you don't switch to Pentax. Then you're hosed.

The 24-70 will matter in how it performs at 2.8 and throughout in the edges and corners. And, of course, price. Plus it works with the dock so we have 16 AF adjustment points (4 focal lengths at 4 distances) versus the 1 Pentax gives us in body.

But we don't have that.. because we chose Pentax. And guys here say who needs AF? Manual focus is the way to go.

f1.8 seems rather a strange option for 14mm full-frame.
Sigma probably made that lens just to prove they can, not because any photographers were asking for it.
Northern light photo are more popular now then ever before..

I guess it would be great for moonlight reflections on a lake too, but f/1,8 may be less suited for astrophoto in general. Both because the FoV is too wide for most astrophoto, and because f/1,8 most likely causes visible coma. For long exposures, stacking and tracking is better techniques then large aperture.

Nothing appealing to me here, but I can understand this type of news adds an additional layer of frustration to some of us...

Its too wide for most astrophoto and normal tracking and stacking is often a better way of getting good results. I suggest its a northern lights lens.

Interesting, people advised me to get Rokinon 14 2.8 as a starter astro lens. I'm pretty new to it, hoping to do more of it in summer. Why uwas aren't a good choice?

Since its a full frame lens I think 14mm in full frame terms. UWA is typically a astro-landscape lens and like normal landscape, 14mm on FF (or 9-10mm on APS-C) is quite extreme in my opinion. It has its nice, but its not the most common.
