1 inch sensor club

Didn't see anywhere like this to get the RX100/G9/G7 users together!

Have been very pleased with my old RX100M1, and now have replaced it with a G9X Mark II. Not a replacement for a larger camera, but better than a phone and pocketable!

Let's see how it gets on...

Thanks Christo, was feeling a bit lonely! Here's some proof you can get bokeh/OOF blur from a small sensor if you contrive to:

I'm surprised by the 1 inch sensor, and images it produces. The cameras are so small, and I must confess, as I get older, and with my arthritis taking it's toll, I use my K5iis and k-30 less than I should, and only with careful planing, and where I don't have to carry it around a lot. The G7x and the mark ii I've got at the moment, is very nice, the only drawback is no viewfinder, but one learn to live without it....

One from this past weekend, with the G7xii, with little Snapseed enhancement. ISO250. SS 1/320, f5.6

RX100 was groundbreaking. Here's an old one from my Mk1:

(I tell a lie with SOOC - I think I applied a little vignetting.)

I have a couple of Nikon1s, and a Panasonic FZ1000. I love the 1" sensor (which is a bit strange since I scoffed so loudly when the Nikon1 was first released!)

Both of the following taken with a V1 + 30-110mm lens.

Nikon AW1. It’s a rugged little camera so I use it on motorcycle trips where I’m afraid to bring my K-3ii:

Thats lovely, Ralph! I'm still brinking on buying a J5, though the other two do me proud, anyway.
