Hasselblad HV and AF Minolta 100mm f 2.8 macro. Lots of sharpness in this lens.
I see you've found its groove... great shots.

Thank you Ed. It is a nice camera and lens too. The viewfinder really lights up before you pull the trigger.

More with HV and Tammy 90mm.

Here are a couple of additional shots with the Hasselblad HV and an old favorite for many folks, the Tamron 90mm f 2.5 macro 1:2. I think with the AF Minolta Maxxum 50mm f 2.8 macro, the Tamron 90mm f 2.5 macro 1:2, and the AF Minolta 100mm f 2.8 macro 1:1, that the macro kit is pretty much covered for my A mount stable of three cameras.

Franken adapteer

I do not have a Minolta MD-A mount adapter, so use two adapters to fit the MD Tele Rokkor-X 135mm f 2.8 to the Hasselblad HV (aka a99). I used the MD-PK and then the PK-MAF (a mount). It seemed to work well. Cloudy conditions offered poor light quality, so I am not entirely happy with the results, but this is only a first trial effort.

Shots with Hasselblad H V with Mamiya lens.

Hasselblad HV with Mamiya-C 645 55mm f 2.8 and FOTODIOX adapter M645 - Sony (A). This combo seems to work together very well. I like the Mamiya-C 645 lenses. They are very well constructed, offer smaller profiles than many medium format lenses, and provide excellent overall optical quality--also an inexpensive way to build a large collection of good lens for the Sony (A) cameras. I also use the M645 lenses on the K-1.

Loved the baby Beercan, only hassle was the long minimum focus. I had the Lite Beercan too, 70-210ii 3.5/4.5.

My old picasa folder is at this link - if it works?

Sweet album. What camera were you using?

Loved one shot with the 35-105... got some swirly action with a red-leaf tree there.

I was sold an A200, a decent camera - but it still rankles.

I'd let go of my Pentax SLR era but kept the M40/2.8 just in case When I started looking into dSLR it was 2008, in a land filled with camera stores - our local mall had two (Ritz and Kit's)! The E500 gave the best images in the store's mixed-WB environment, but a few others were close. I brought in my M40 and asked if it would work with the .. K100 or 200? .. and the 'sales'man could not make it work. I shelved Pentax as a contender for that, so the also-stabilized A200 came home with me. Within 2 years I'd learned of the shoot-without-lens setting and had a K100d.. and the rest is (a very messy, admittedly) history.

Thing is, 2008-9 was the most travel I've done since, so it had scenery the Pentax gear has yet to experience!
backpacking and Crater Lake
San Juan islands
my best snowstorm ever in Portland - or was that 1968?

Vivitar Series 1 19-35mm A mount, adapted to Sony A7ii

One shot at each end of the zoom range. I am impressed with this lens, a recent cheap purchase.

Look for the three-masted sailing ship

Sony A mount 75-300mm mounted on EA4 adapter on a Sony A7ii.

I cannot believe how easy this was....Shot handheld using autofocus, spot metering on the moon, compensation at -3. Jpeg cropped a lot, but no sharpening or colour adjustments (original jpeg also attached).

Not sure if the SAL75300 lens is the same lens as the Minolta A mount with same specs, maybe it is the last of the Minolta-designed lenses????
