Pentax-110 to Micro Four Thirds - issue with adapter

Hello - so this is my 110 70mm/2.8 mounted via a small adapter to my E-M1

My issue - as you can see in the midle of the frame, where the adapter meets the camera body, there is a lever that springs the adapter to release the lens.

Bad design as there is literary a hole where light leaks (confirmed).

I can put my finger over it when shooting, but would like a better fix. Is there some kind of elastic band wide enough to snug from the lens' body onto the adapter?

Suggestions?

PS - is there another adapter than the one shown here: Fotasy brand. My lens did not use to wiggle, but now it does. It is a bad adapter but I have not found other.

Electrical tape...
Big Hair bands like "Burlybands" or "AwEx" (see amazon)

As for adapters?

Check ebay. There are cheap ones... and expensive ones. The Kipon is over $70 but looks the best of those available.

This is interesting but I can't find evidence it was ever completed: 3D-printed Pentax 110 to E-mount with apertures: Sony Alpha / NEX E-mount (APS-C) Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review I reached out to the person involved.

I would try to seal it from the inside of the adapter (if possible).
Some elastic matte black tape on the inside may help.

It may even improve the performance of the adapter as they sometimes are a bit shiny on the inside.

Wrist bands like tennis players wear (wore?). They were about 2" - 3" wide, as I remember them.

Kipon sells at $58 at adorama. Seems to be the best out there...
