I suppose a camera with full information viewfinder is a possible alternative to one with program AE mode.
But nowhere in New York State law does it say I am required to share my LX or K2DMD with my spouse!
If the MZ10 doesn't work out and/or Stacey insists on manual control I will let her try the MX or my spare KX...

Agreed about the Canon F-1N, even with a standard viewfinder, it's one of the best out there for viewfinders, and you get pretty nice finder displays: you don't even have to read the numbers to see where the aperture settings are, because the match-needle matches with a moving stick.

Special thanks to member zhuxyg who sold me a nice Pentax A3000 body for the cost of shipping only.

Another vote for the LX, it has a range of interchangeable viewfinders, I'm sure you will find one that's suitable for your good lady.

Those are some great suggestions but a bit too pricey for my budget right now.
As previously mentioned I have A3000 ($10) and MZ10 ($25) bodies on the way.
If those don't work out we'll give the P3N, KX and MX bodies we already own a try.

Chris, my wife doesn't have vision problems but she wouldn't really know an f-stop from a Ford F-150. That said, she has both a K100D Super and a Super Program. Of course the digital can be auto everything which is how she uses it. With the Super Program, the camera is set on auto along with the 50/1.7 lens set to A. So basically, except for the focusing part, she uses it as a film point and shoot. Just my 2 cents worth.
