I have a ZX-30 where the autofocus fails on the two Sigma film capable lenses I have:
28-80 Aspherical Macro (came with camera and works on an SF1)
28mm 1.8 EX DG
With both it sounds like a clutch is slipping.
However, the AF works just fine with:
DA 1:3.5-5.6 18-55mm AL II
New Tamron AF 17-50mm 2.8 IF
Too bad neither will cover the format.
Is the camera wearing out or do Sigma lenses require more torque than this model delivers? This camera was a gift and had been overhauled about 3 years ago, but for transport issues.
BTW, the Sigma zoom is fully usable on my K200d. Not a bad lens at all.
