Do you shoot more b&w or colour film?

Just curious if you have shot more colour or b&w film in the last two years?
Also do you prefer one over the other for specific shooting scenarios?

For me it’s about half and half.

I prefer b&w for portraiture and street shooting.
I prefer colour for macro and night shooting.
Everything else is about 50/50.

For me it's mostly B&W. I really like the control and satisfaction I get from developing myself. B&W is easier to scan in my opinion too; no color correction. This time of year I shoot lots of color though. I'd say overall I'm about 75% B&W and 25% color.

When I shot film, I shot B&W unless I was being paid to shoot colour (weddings, paid portrait shoots, product photography).
The last time I shot film was in 2006, and the only reason I shot it then was because I needed the wideness that the A15/3.5 would give me on film.

colour film photography has become more of a rarity these days especially for me. I haven't shot colour film in YEARS.

I shoot mainly colour film and entirely C-41 because I'm not set up to develop at home. Getting decent developing isn't a problem but getting good scans from the labs in my area is, so I'm moving towards doing all of my own scanning. If I want an image to be B&W generally I'll convert it after processing the scanned file.

I've got a roll each of Portra 400NC and Fuji Press 800 in the fridge waiting to be developed and a roll of Ektar on the go.

BW print film and colour slides. Pretty much the combination I have shot since 1982. These days I shoot far fewer slides as I use digital for work, and have been getting more and more into monochrome photography for personal work (film and digital).

A slight majority of my film work is B&W, except in autumn when I'll go through many, many rolls of Velvia.

Right now, 2/3 BW and 1/3 C41 color. These are two mediums that give me something digital can't at a reasonable price.

Only b&w for me. I use digital for colour.
