Paterson Super System 4 or Jobo 1520

Don't put out big bucks for a plastic two reel tank. I use the Arista Premium Double Reel Tank (with two reels!) for 120 and 4x5 sheets (taco style) and have been quite impressed with the value for this item, particular for less than $20 USD! It is made in the EU and is sold under the AP name among others.

I would also suggest that you seriously consider stainless steel tanks. The volume of chemicals per roll is less and they are very durable and the plastic top type is less prone to leaking. The stainless reels can be expensive if you go with the Cadillac Hewes product, but take it from me, the Hewes is worth every penny!

The major problem I have is shipping.

If I get a lot of these good deals, shipping them to myself in South Korea makes them no longer a good deal.

A korean comapny Matin makes lots of great low cost, good quality stuff.

Changing bags and so on.

I was thinking of maybe making one big order from freestyle as they have really good supplies.

I want to keep space and weight low, so I think I should try to get most liquid chemistry here in Korea, unless it's powder or concentrate.

• Accurate thermometer. Digital is relatively inexpensive. Get one reading to one decimal point precision (+/- 0.05 C) intended for technical use as opposed to medical or cooking.
• Graduated cylinders (1L and 50ml)

Kodak Rapid Fix is fine, and you can easily get away with no stop bath. Plenty of home-development people skip the Stop!

You can make some of the processing chemicals from raw stock yourself. Instead of Dektol, look up a recipe for Kodak D72. It gives the same results. Also, for hypo clearing agent, check out this link for a home made recipe:

I mostly want the scanner for b+w, some color, but only 35mm
