Super Program multi exposure?

If i push the film rewind in order to take a multiple exposure shot, will that reset my shot counter?

Can I make a multiple exposure this way?

The opening of the camera back resets the shot counter. Best I can remember you can do Multi Exposure this way.

Push the film rewind button underneath the camera at the same time winding the film advance wind lever.
This will not reset the counter. Counter should stay at the same number indicating that you can make a 2nd exposure (or multiple exposures) on the same frame.
If you want to make another (multiple) exposure on the same frame, just hold the film rewind button depressed again whilst winding the film advance lever.
After the "multiple" exposure, the button will still be depressed and just leave it alone and wind the lever again if you want to go to the next frame and the film rewind knob will pop out in the normal position (so the film can be advanced to the next frame).
