SuperA - Meter switch adjustment

Hello

I use a Super A and found that the trigger point for switchng on the light meter is much to close to the release trigger. Therefore it is sometimes difficult to see the settings and measurements without making a foto.
I allready opened the bottom side to find something to adjust, but on this side is nothing thet moves, when I press the button.

Any hint?

Best Regards
Klaus

The shutter release on the Super A is electronic rather than mechanical so there won't be anything in the bottom

It is purely when the first and second switchs make contact. I'm not sure if this is adjustable. The service manual and parts list is on my website here if it helps.

Have a P5 that does same Klaus, probably why I got it 'dirt cheap'
dirt is probably reason why.Dont believe adjustment is an option.
If you imagine first three fingers of hand as contacts on your (and mine)
shutter buttons, ....

index finger would be [common]-a source of power for switch
middle finger would be contact that enables metering
finger next to pinky is contact that fires shutter

With this as scenario, we press shutter button lightly to see meter
which means first contact(finger) 'makes' with second,we have meter
press down further all three contacts (fingers) 'make'...shutter fires

Likely that some sort of debris is in there causing mis-alignment
sometimes you can shake it loose, blow it out with air, even repeatedly pressing
on shutter button will clear at times.Dis-assembly and cleaning best course of action.

On my P5,as a work around,I can depress exposure lock and meter is enabled
in same manner as with contacts on shutter,so I just maintain status quo as is,
Recall another member with super and same kind of problem, was able to come up
with something in same vein, cant recall what function on super was used.

I sometimes have this problem with my Super Program. Whenever it happens, I just switch on the self-timer, press the shutter all of the way, then cancel the self timer before the shutter trips. this turns on the meter without tripping the shutter.
