Originally posted by chickentender Pretty sure I see some FSU rangefinders in upper right, next to the black (what looks to be) stereoscopic camera of some kind. Looks like there's a Zorki and a later model FED perhaps. I think those TLRs on the other side are Flexarets. Who's better at this??
They're definitely not Flexarets. There are two round dials next to the lenses, similar to the shutter and aperture dials on Yashicamats and post-war Rolleiflexes, that were never present on any of the Flexarets. (I'd guess Yashica before Rollei, as the dials look to be completely chrome.)
And those are definitely some FSU camers on the right. Pretty sure that's one of the Zorki-based m39 Zenits sitting on top of either a second version FED 4 or a FED-5.
Edit: There's an Exa 1a or 1b on the shelf right below the leftmost TLR, and I think the black SLR on the right shelf is an Olympic logo Zenit. Checking sovietcams.com suggests that it was some of the EM and TTL models that had both black finish and the logo on the prism. The glare across the front of the prism housing makes it difficult to tell which of the two it is, but I'd say that would suggest late-70s as the earliest date for the photo.
Edit the 2nd: The black one in the middle hanging below the light meters is possibly either an early model 35mm Minox or, given the other FSU cameras, a Kiev-35A. If it's a Kiev that would push the photo into the mid-80s, while Minox would still leave the '70s as an option.
