I love that shot, g026r. Can you make out the writing on the young woman's arm? It looks like "Amor fati." Ah, I see I guessed right. I clicked on the image and it took me to your flickr page with that title. Huh, I googled the phrase and got an interesting hit from Wikipedia. "Love of fate" with a good explanation to go along with it. Very interesting. Definitely one of those "a picture's worth a thousand words" images.

I agree with cooltouch. That is a great photo g026r. So were the shots with the KW Pilot Super.

Everett, WA. Kodak TMax 100, Zeiss-Ikon Contessa, shot in 2013 and developed in 2016, film unsurprisingly went bad in an interesting way in the meantime.

Seattle, WA. Kodak TMax 100, Zeiss-Ikon Contessa, shot in 2014 and developed in 2016.

Lynnwood, WA. Kodak TMax 100, Zeiss-Ikon Contessa, shot in 2014 and developed in 2016.

A few shots from around the outside of the Halifax central library - shot with an MX or K1000 on FP4 or HP5 and Developed in HC110 (which I am almost out of and not sure if I should look to another developer due to the near doubling of its price). I am thinking of trying D76 or Xtol not sure.

All shots with Tmax 400, developed at home in D76 and Kodak Fixer and scanned with the DSLR/Macro Lens method; reversal from negative and contrast/exposure tweaks in Raw Therapee (both films were processed at native ISO in the same development run).

Pentax S1a (with help from various external light meters).

Pentax MX (internal meter with double check and occasional override from Sekonic Studio Deluxe light meter).

I feel things are coming along a fair bit with regard to exposure, contrast, etc. since I started this little B&W adventure. I feel a certain sense of pride that there is not a single roll of black and white film I have shot THIS CENTURY that I did not develop myself.

I had to take a short break from home developing because of darkroom availability issues (we were renovating, so it needed to revert to its original status as a bathroom). A few more rolls to bring me properly back up to speed, and I will be ready to try home-brew C41.
