Feel free to laugh,
I thought it was amusing enough to take the shot. :-)

Then I shot the setup with my K-30 and the 18-55 kit lens

45 Mike what are you taking a picture of? A potato or a rock? It would be interesting to see that photo.

Here are some shots from the inside of the Halifax central library. Shot on a K1000 and HP5. I think this set I developped in HC110 at 1:49 and semi stand developed.

That Rokinon 650-1300 zoom has a minimum focus distance measured in yards not inches. The nominal subject was a walnut. I did not actually take that photo, the actual photo was of the lens being shown in an impossible configuration.

Gotcha. I thought maybe part of that configuration was a really long extension tube. Looks like you had fun setting it all up.

Love those, especially 018 with the mixture of curves and straight lines. Great stuff.

I suspect those aren't taken in Launceston! Great images.

Yep love those old manual flashes, they are fun to use!

I see the Focal is a "potato masher" style, they look good attached to an old film camera, Gives you kind of a news press photographer look, people will stare when you use it.
