My experience with RPX 25 so far is with 2 developers. When developed in Rodinal, I experienced a 'short-toe' characteristic with the film. Meaning the transition through the lower end of the blacks is faster resulting in a more compressed tonal scale in that region.
And when I developed it with D-23 (basically the same as D-76 and variants), it stretched the toe out some yielding in a smoother, lower end tonal transition. So with this film, the choice of developer can help with mood or type of shot you want.
I see with Caffenol CL something like a metol developer based results. When you scan, do you place RGB=0 for the base of the film (unexposed area) or at some point up the tonal scale where the film has recored something?
