I'm pretty certain this is my first ever post in this thread
Not the best shot with which to begin my occasional involvement, but it's significant to me. This was one of my first ever B&W film photos, taken some years ago with an original GOST-calibrated Soviet LOMO LC-A compact on Ilford XP2 Super 400 (C41 process) film, and developed by the very inconsistent photo lab at my then-local Tesco supermarket (because I didn't know any better back then
). I remember that I was experimenting with the LC-A's zone focusing system at the time, and this seemed like a reasonable subject for that. What's significant to me, though, is that this is the first negative I've digitized myself using my recently-built rig - consisting of my old K-5 plus D FA100/2.8 Macro WR, CS-720 copy stand, Kaiser Slimlite Plano 2453 light panel and EFH "Essential Film Holder" (which arrived this morning), and processed with Negative Lab Pro in Lightroom 6...
Treat me gently with this first tentative post in the thread, eh folks?
