I took this in 1961 with a simple Kodak Retinette viewfinder camera (no rangefinder) which could shoot no faster than 1/250. Still, it makes an amusing picture sixty years later.

Fuji Acros II

Years ago my sister was living in Cheyenne and had a trip planned to take me to the park while I was visiting. Just a couple days before we were supposed to go, a seven ft flood went through the park. I have never made the time to go back....

While not mine, this pic was taken by My grandfather almost 100 years ago.
I post it here as a tribute to the 200th anniversary of the end of the Independence Wars in my country (May 24th)
He documented the Centennial celebrations, which included the monument to the unknown soldiers pictured here.
A military parade coming down the street (named 24 de Mayo) with the monument in the background.

I digitized the negatives (45x107mm stereo glass plates) using a Pentax DSLR and stitched the 2 sides of the stereo

That town must be cursed by the spirits at the Stanley. I wanted to shoot the mountains on medium format, but my 645 died on the way into town. Luckily I had an iPhone and a 35mm backup.

The town itself is very touristy, but the hiking trails made the entire trip worth it. I’d go back.

I have pictures on that place too in the early 00s!
Let's see if I can find them

PS It's funny to me that Caffenol/Folgernol caught on so much. It was a fun little experiment some 20yrs ago
