MZ-5n needs repair?

Hi there,

my Dad just brought in a Old MZ-5n, looking ... unused, incl. battery grip and winder : ).
unfortunatly the Mirror refuses to com down no matter what you try.

Anybody has a hint what I could do?
Professional repair is always an option, but pricey.

It's a fairly common problem with the Pentax MZ-series cameras. Self-repair would include dissasembling the whole camera and putting it all back together.
