go for a PZ-1 or PZ-1p

controls are nearly the same (dual thumb wheels, hyper program and hyper manual modes) and the PZ-1 will use any lens made for any pentax 35mm with all functionality

Yes, I'd put the limit around 22mm, plus I actually like the vignetting at wider angles. You won't want to use the shade though.

In a body, you might want to look at the ability to set aperture from camera (ie. FA-J compatibility) if you feel you need that. Otherwise, anything with an 'Auto' or 'Program' setting will work, you can still use shutter priority, and the only thing you'd lose is the aperture priority.

I find I really miss the ability to set aperture only when I'm dweebing out, e.g. doing test shots where I want a specific aperture. But then, I ended up with bodies that don't set aperture, and were I to go through it again perhaps I'd look for that ability.

not sure in detail. I believe some of the minor functions. PZ-1 came first.

Manual for PZ-1P is at the attached site.

Don't know if electronic manual for PZ-1 exists any where.
