My Pentax K2 Film Camera was serviced perfectly!

I live in Tokyo, Japan. I bought a Pentax K2 about 35 years ago. My K2 had a lot of dust in finder and the SMC 50 mm/F1.4 lens had mold, and dust.
I contacted to Pentax Japan at 1st. But Pentax Japan has no parts for vintage cameras. So it did not service mine. 2nd choice I contacted to a small camera repair factory in Tokyo, Haegawa kosaku sho, 長谷川工作所. The repair shop was overhauled my Pentax K2 perfectly and renew my Penta prism! And removed my SMC 50 mm lens's mold! The total cost was 300 USD! I am very happy!! You can repair your vintage Pentax S2 S3 SV SP SPF ES ESII & MX!! Of course K series!

Howdy Seiya! Welcome aboard.

I'm glad to hear the good news about your K2 restoration. The K2 is my favorite film camera (and I have several refurbished 35mm Pentaxs to chose from). The K2 is the one I reach for most often.

Here in the States, we have an excellent Pentax repairman we lean on heavily in Eric Hendrickson. I don't have his repair shop web link handy, but I'm sure another PF member will chime in with the link shortly.

Chime! Chime!

Fortunately, the cost for repair appears to be quite a bit less here in the U.S. than in Japan!

Seiya, well done !! Each old camera deserves a second life ! Whatever it costs ! I've given the link to the repairman to a friend in Saitama, he's got more broken cameras than memories . . .

With all of your marketplace posts...are you keeping anything?

Sure. I'm just paring down my gear collection in anticipation of moving next year.
I've placed 3 ads for a total of 4 items this month. The K2 is the only one still available.
