LX + SA23 = Epic

Just put put the SA-23 focusing screen in my LX . I used to have a split focusing screen with micro prism collar. I spent $150 on this screen and no regrets, it's amazing. I mainly shoot portraits, so it's perfect for me. It is so clear what is in focus and what's not.

LesDMess- I had been watching it for the last four months on ebay. It was listed for $250 forever and the seller just relisted for $150. It was bit pricey but Wow, it's amazing. I had a really hard time finding one anywhere else.

For a camera that was in production from 1980 to 2001 I cannot believe how hard it is to find Pentax LX items. And when I find them, they are not inexpensive!
I do understand the law of supply and demand when it comes to discontinued product!

I just recently lost a bid for a 250 back for the LX cause I was driving at that time too! This one would likely have been just for display purposes though but it would have been cool.

I also changed to the SA23 a couple years ago, and it is a big improvement with fast lenses. I haven't seen another since, but have been looking for my MX.

I have a few LX accessories that would sell for a reasonable price...I'll have to check, but I have a focusing screen or two...and the AC power module for studio use (with intervalometer etc.) I think Frank in Singapore got a few other accessories when he bought my LX a couple years ago...a few items went to a forum member in Finland too...

Let me be first in line particularly for any LX related items. Looking for a soft case, screens, winders, motors, FA-2, FD-1, FE-1, 250 back.

You were the first to comment on the lack of accessories, so you will get "first dibs"...Pretty sure all my motors and winders and remote cords have been sold. I'll check this weekend to see what I have stashed away...Certain there is at least one screen, certain there is an AC/110 volt intervalometer, certain I have two infrared remote triggers with cords to motor/winder (60 meter range), not sure what else I can dig up...you'll know soon!
