Truly splendid!

I have a Super-A basket case I'd like back exposing film. Any advice?

RUN !!

Have a Super Program that's the same way, power is getting to the electronics, only firing at 1/125, no read out on the LCD screens.....some aren't repairable, so they become spare parts. Try another might have better luck.

Drooling all over!
THIS is the reason this thread exists! BEAUTIFUL set!
I was wondering about black KMs. The very few I've seen are suspicious. Most likely painted fakes. I've always wondered if they really exist.

Thanks,

Well I know how good the Pentax M Macro 50mm f4 is so my curiosity is piqued to know the result of such a duel!

I’ve only run one roll of film through it but everthing seems fine so far. None of the dreaded focusing issue. The screen is a bit dim however. Let’s see how it does in bright daylight (which it has not yet seen since I received it).

This is one frame that does not look like a boring test shot, taken with the Nikkor-P 75mm f/2.8 wide open.

I wouldn’t say that Kodak is expired probably lots of life left in it

I love those old Kodak folders...

I found a Petri 7s in a thrift store that fully works. I am going to try to shoot a roll of film with it. It even came with 2 rolls of Kodacolor X - Kodak color film that predates the C-41 process.

I have an earlier Petri rangefinder I really like. They have a reputation for fragility but they have good lenses, it seems. Enjoy it

Under similar controlled indoor scenario (tripod | f8 | ISO 100 | 1.6 Secs) the differences are truly minute. The big stand out is the bokeh balls generated at this aperture - the A series has hexagons while the K series does pentagons.

Here's a link to a cross-thread where I posted a sample shot - prime, prime, everywhere a prime... - Page 582 - PentaxForums.com

Bottom line - both are great lenses. Maybe on the field the results will vary.
