Voigtlander Bessa of indeterminate age. I bought this about 6 years ago from an antiques dealer in a local craft fair in Cirencester's Corn Hall for £15. It's fully functional too, so a real bargain.

Does it use a roll film size that you can still obtain? It looks about the size for 620 film

COOL! So long as there are no pinholes in the corner folds of the bellows, you're in a good position to experiment.

BTW, in case you did not know. The easiest way to check for pinholes = go into a dark room, the darker the better, and insert a flashlight inside the bellows from the back of the camera, Any pinhole will stand out clearly.

A friend gave me this Moskva-2 which he picked up on a trip to Russia. It is a take on a Zeiss Super Ikonta. While I like shooting old cameras, this one is just too old for me. I do want some modern conveniences like advancing the film to the next frame. In low light it is hard for me to see the frame number through a aged red window in the back with my aging eyes.

I lucked into a bag of Leica R gear a number of years back from an estate sale. ‘Leitaxed’ a number of them and have slowly sold a couple of them off - but as gearporny as it gets.

For those keeping score at home -
Vivitar 21/3.8 (Still have it)
Elmarit-R 28/2.8 (still have it)
Tamron Adaptall 35-80 QZ-35M (Still have it)
Summicron-R 50/2 (sold)
Elmarit-R 180/2.8 (sold - great lens)
Telyt-R 560/6.8 with shoulder stock and pistol grip (still have it)
1.4x APO Teleconverter (still have it)
Macro extension tube for Elmarit-R 60/2.8 Macro lens
R5 with motordrive (still have - needs resealed)
R4s with motordrive (still have it - likely only good for parts)

I had the same problem with my Ikoflex tlr & did start documenting which film stocks have decent print, but then I got sidetracked lol. I do remember shanghai gps is really good as is the one I am using at the moment, Rollei Superpan 200. I have it in a Kershaw King Penguin. (Yeah, I bought it for the silly name). The penguin is a 6x7 folder with two apertures, f16 & f11, two speeds, 1/50 & B, and no means of focusing. I can't wait to see how the shots come out

Sounds like less of a penguin and more of a turkey.

Yes, the Speed Graphic has a focal plane shutter with faster shutter speeds than the leaf shutter lenses used on the Crown Graphic making it a popular choice for the press photographer back in the day.

Mine came with a old Schneider Xenar 135/4.7 lens. That lens has an image circle just large enough to cover the film so you can't use lens rise and front tilt movements the camera has with it. I have some more modern lenses I use.

Of course the more grain there is on the film to define an image, the richer its tonal tonal scale can be. And naturally the film area difference between sheet film and a frame on small format canister film is significant.

Here are some shots using that Crown Graphic:

The Vivitar is a recent acquisition. I haven't really tried it out yet. But these two cameras are similar in their manual operation and can be used without batteries.

I found this SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2 today at a local shop. It appears to be in great condition to my untrained eye. I also picked up a 50mm Olympus lens case for it.
