Hi, recently I wanted to change something in the appearance of my cameras, and some new straps should be able to freshen up the looks without spending too much. Then I remembered I once had a camera for a couple of days that had some buckles which could let the strap be quickly released from the lugs and attached to another camera. They look something like the ones that can be seen in this ebay auction.
The trouble is, I have no idea what they are called, let alone where can I find them (of course, preferably in the eastern Asian region). Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Those are nice straps, though I can't say that I have seen any like them before. They look to be well suited for a light-weight kit.

Maybe I was not specific enough, but I was referring to the metal attachments.

I have some fittings similar to those that I bought way back in the early 1980's. I originally had them on my Spotmatic then used them on my Spotmatic II until I noticed they were starting to scrape the paint off the camera body. I then put them onto my binocular's strap and used them for many years.

I haven't seen them available to buy anywhere recently as most cameras seem to have strap lugs designed for webbing straps these days.

I always avoided straps with metal fittings, as well as the wide fabric straps, as I wanted little impact on the camera, and little bulk as well. I actually used parachute cord looped through the eyelets and threaded back into itself on my main cameras for decades. (Obviously not for delicate shoulders!) I used the strap less for carrying and more for security, wound around my wrist. Never dropped a camera in over 50 years.
