DA 18-55 II on film

Is it just me, or is this lens really really good on film?
Was looking through some older photos and ran across this shot that I took in 2012.
I took the photo using my MZ-L with the DA 18-55II set around 50mm IIRC. Film was Kodak Ektachrome E100G and scanned at 3200dpi on my ScanDual IV.

Here's a 100% crop from the 3200dpi scan.

Colton, I'm asking the same thing since I saw this. How much is it cropped? I love the photograph. That should not be glossed over. As to the lens, nice color, detail, and contrast.

David the image itself isn't really cropped at all. The 18-55 will cover a full frame from around 24mm onwards. Only certain Pentax film bodies can shoot with the DA lenses though.
I'm quite impressed by the lens on film.

Here's another. This was shot at around 22mm I would guess. Cropped to 5x7, but full width of frame.
