Excellent!!! In the worst case the Spotmatic makes a wonderful mantel piece

the 55/1.8 is sharp as nails.... a really wonderful lens

I have two and one occupies the mantel and serves as an excellent conversation piece. It works fine, but is too pretty to leave in closet.
