ZX5 Focusing Screen

Is there something else available by chance? Something I can swap in? I only use manual lenses so I am not worried about the screen necessarily affecting the AF. It is not bad but it is not amazing either.

Hi. On my MZ-5n, which is the non-US version of the ZX-5/n, I've installed a "split-image" focusing screen from a broken MZ-M (ZX-M) I bought for parts.
It works great. Focusing is ultra-precise now with any lens, both auto or manual.
The focusing screen swapping operation is a delicate task to be performed with huge care. You will need some fine plastic tweezers, so you don't touch the matte surfaces of the glass, and also to release the focusing screen cradles.

I have swapped focusing screens in my K7 before. So, the M versions have a split screen? That is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks.

The ZX/MZ-M focus screen has a split-image focusing aid.
I had this screen installed in my very similar Pentax MZ-3 body.
It now works very well for manual focus without losing AF capability.
