Did it again ... Pentax LX

Having sold off my near-mint LX (with an assortment of finders) I found myself wanting another solid high-end body. I wavered on just getting a Nikon F3 with the classic 105, but my Pentax lenses cried at the thought.

So a rough looking user-grade LX is now headed my way from Japan. This one I intend to be my daily-driver. Nothing mint to worry about or baby.

I'm looking forward to having that beautiful camera in my hands again...

Even if I stop shooting film, I can't see letting my LX go, it's like an old friend!

Me too, I have one and a bag full of M lenses,
It's an old friend, always felt very comfortable with it. Lots of good memories made and experienced with it.
I'm sure it needs a CLA, but I doubt I would ever run another roll through it.
I should build display case for all my old film friends.....

It's like buttuh. Still my favourite. Never tire of it in my hands. That and s many other subtleties.... Plus it's got the best meter ever made.
My LX metered this a few weeks ago in A shutter mode.

Aw, that makes me sad. It's like a guitar that's not being played.

Pentax LX

Love my LX,
last used in Cuba (2006) and South America (2008),,,it has the winder attached and feels so good in the hand,,,new K3 with battery grip feels just as good..thank you Pentax. K3 went to Thailand, Laos, Viet Nam, Cambodia and Burma last year with no significant quirkes. Have been using Pentax for 40 years and can not let go. The LX will not be sold
