Pentax Super A / Program Plus. Very nice camera. Full automatic and manual controls. Excellent body design, ergonomics and handling. Very nice viewfinder. This was Pentax masterpiece for manual focus advanced amateur cameras. The closest thing to today's K-3 in the 80's.

I have the Super A and find its a great little camera. You can't go wrong with this one.

How old is your film? Color or BW?
All small format Pentax film camera bodies are small. Arguing over the size difference between a K1000 and MX, for example, is really a moot, overly-sensitive, point.

So many Super Program votes here - I've had one sitting my drawer for two years that has never worked properly. Have nearly sent it to Eric a number of times but never seemed worth the effort. Not sure what's wrong with it. The shutter will open and then not close unless I give the cam a good 'whack' from the bottom. Very odd because the camera *looks* completely pristine (eerily so).

For the money the P series camera are usually a great value; and the Pz allow you to use even autofocus lenses.
I see KEH has a few cameras and a PZ1p sells for less than $100, same with the MESuper, and the SuperPrograms ($65 for an EX)
