It was worth it.

I have an 8-year-old son who likes to take pictures. He uses either an ME or an ME Super set to auto. I figure at this point, focusing and composing is enough, and with auto exposure, we get plenty of prints to go in his photo album.

Yesterday, he was walking down a little slope in the woods to take a picture. When he had made it back to where his mom and I were, he was all sweaty, scratched by briars, and had skinned his knee.

His mom offered some sympathy, and he said, "Oh, it's okay. The picture was worth it."

You've raised a cool young photographer, Lenscap - I bet he'll reach the stars with his attitude.

Yeah, I don't know how the photo will turn out, but I was proud of the attitude.

Wow. My son has a fisher price "indestructible" camera. So far he mostly likes pushing buttons. Although every now and then something profound comes out of his mouth or he puts some thought into a composition. Its a joy to see. He's 6.

I have 33 photos that pop up as taken with the K-1 in a flickr search (all taken with my K-7)

However, here are some flickr-groups for the K-1:
