I did manage to pick up a Pentax Spotmatic for $2.00 at Goodwill. The meter appears unresponsive. Is the an easy fix or rehab for it. The rest it grubby and greasy, but should clean up nice. The shutter sounds accurate at all speeds.

Try a new battery. Also check the battery contacts - if you see any corrosion hit it with a bit of contact cleaner. You'd be surprised how often that's all that it takes.

I knew I had a bunch of cameras but I didnt realize how many until I spent the day cleaning them! Good thing to do when snowed in!

I admit it..the longer I am in the hobby the longer my list gets! ...even so....I have a few that I keep looking for.
