This K2DMD ad was $975 USD the previous few weeks. I was suprised the asking price got bumped up this week!

I suppose it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Seems rather inflated compared to only recent one that has sold in working condition for $145 Pentax K2 DMD 35mm Camera Body K2DMD Black | eBay

I think you missed his description stating, "very rare vintage Pentax K2DMD from around 1975" which predates the official release of 1976 making it a pre-production model . . .

Strange sales strategy

Not the first time I've seen an eBay seller raise the price of an item that didn't sell...

How would one even know that?

And even more fun, he only ships to the US, from Denmark. Guess he thinks Americans can pay more and are easy to fool?

I wounder who the true fool is.

Just for grins I made a Best Offer of $300*. The counter was $1,175.

* I wasn't really worried it would be accepted.
