Speaking of extra frames, does anyone remember this film from around 1980? :
Ilford HP5 Auto Winder film came in 72 exposure rolls to fit a standard 35mm camera.
It had a thinner base so that it could fit in a standard 35mm film cartridge.
I guess it never really caught on and was discontinued after a few years.
Ilford sold a steel developing tank with reel designed to accommodate the increased length.
And you think you have problems loading 36 exposure rolls on standard reels!
