Help to identify this camera

Hi everyone, this is my first post so...hi

And sorry about English mistakes, I'm Italian.

So, I found this camera among my grandfather's things. I did a research, and it looks like a Pentax p3.
But the P3 model number is nowhere to be found, and the dial has got only "B" and "1/4" modes, with the writing "MM-2" which is not selectable.
I'm curious to find out about this particular model, thanks in advance to everyone who knows something about it

p.s: the 'Ap-k75' attachment is an endoscope adapter, even if there aren't many pieces of information about it either.

The only thing I've found so far is an eBay listing from last year, which doesn't give you any more information than you already have (except to confirm that it's for medical applications):

It appears to be some variation of the Pentax P3 designed for medical use.
I often see microscope and fundus cameras from various makers on eBay.

My guess would be an endoscopy camera. The viewfinder displays an aerial image with no focus screen.

It does appear to be a camera modified for medical use. Pentax made several cameras and lenses for the dental indstrusty. Asahi Optical Corperation made more than just camera optics. There was a Pentax MF-1 that was also similar to this. That was a modified Pentax ME. This one appears to be a modified P3 although there is no history of it.

The Pentax MF-1 is a scientific camera made by Pentax and based on the body of the Pentax ME.
It has a special finder with a round image field. The image is aerial, there is no ground glass. It has a spot meter, the manual speed is 1/4 instead of 1/100, and it has FP and X sync.

Looks very similar to what you have. A highly specialized camera body.

The AP-K75 adapter was used to connect an Endoscope to the camera body.

The Pentax MF, which preceded (?) the MF-1 in the endoscopy line, was similar, but it took half-frame-sized photos instead of the regular 35mm size. Does the MM-2 take full-size 35mm frames?

Simply open the film door. The frame opening for full-frame 35mm will be 36x24mm horizontal. Half-frame will be 18x24mm vertical.

I just checked, and indeed it is 36x24, so full-frame 35 mm as you said.
