Probably the only way I can describe the problem with this camera. Recently got a Super and the mirror seems to have trouble flicking up out of the way. The camera seems to get back to a normal pace once it as shot once or twice, but I dont find this acceptable. Is there away to repare this

It seems MEs and ME supers are prone to this. There is a tutorial out there that shows how to disassemble, clean, relube and reassameble the camera, but it's quite tricky as you have to remove the whole mirror box and of course, get everything back together. I can't seem to find the link, though.

I had the same problem with an otherwise great looking black ME super that I got for a bargain. There's a lot of people complaining about sticky shutters, so I figured I'd rather have it fixed by a professional than buying another one that might develop the same symptoms. It cost me around 65$ in Germany (which is a lot more than I paid for the camera itself) and from what I hear, a repair at Eric's in the US probably won't be much more.

I had mine serviced which fixed this, but it is still a little slow to rise when in very cold weather
