You know as I look more closely at the CVS scans and compare them to my scans, I am thinking that the middle would be a good compromise.

I mounted a Takumar on my ME and it looks like metering is your standard automatic AV no-brainer proposition, just as you might expect it to be. I didn't actually take any shots, since the lock tab on my adapter wasn't getting a good bite on the camera mount. But it certainly looks very feasible. And with that big bright viewfinder I imagine shooting Takumars with an ME or ME Super would be a breeze.

I don't see any reason why a Takumar would be any different meter wise. nothing is mentioned in the ME-F or the ME super manual about it.

Here are some from my ME Super... forgot the film used, but it was just the normal, consumer Kodak color film...

A fishing village shot across the pier. Put the ME Super on the edge, without composing haha, and guesstimated the proper bulb exposure. Turned out ok I guess...

ME Super + M 50/2 + Kodak consumer film

This if from the same village (our band played that night), this was from the other band playing...

ME Super + Sigma 105/2.8 macro + Kodak consumer film
