Did I fall for a scam?

Hi
I just bought a suitcase of pentax gear from China. A seller with no feedback. And a really low price. Just 29us . Three lenses a camera body and free shipping.

What are my chances do you think?

Cheers

Given the fact that the seller has no feedback and the shipping is included, I'd say it's 50/50. I've had a couple of things like that over the years that turned out OK.

If you paid by PayPal, you're covered under buyer protection...

One thing I forgot to mention... shipping time from China to UK can vary wildly (and I'd guess it's the same to Norway), but my experience has been that it can take quite a few weeks - more than a month, sometimes 6 - 8 weeks depending on the method used and how quickly the seller ships. On that basis, don't be unduly concerned if you haven't received your purchase after 3 - 4 weeks. It's quite common from that location.

Yeah, same for a very cheap things it can take like 4-6 week for things from china to come to Japan too.
I tried to pay for fast shipping one, and it still take like 3 weeks.

but for some more expensive order like my tablet screen I order a couple week ago, it took like 3 days for free shipping.

Wow, that's a nice haul for $29!! I'd have taken a chance on that too. Good luck - let us know how it turns out?

Shipping is probably very slow, since its free. You can contact the seller, just to make sure they shipped it off (sometimes someone might just not send you an item until you ask for it to be sent, in the hopes you forgot about it; but they will send it once you start inquiring). But don't accuse them of anything. I once waited 3 months for a package from China. I already gave up on it, and it was such a low sum I did not care much, but then it surprised me and showed up just fine.

Nice set! And yes, shipping can take forever. I have waited 2 months for stuff from China. On the other hand, shipping from Hong Kong is fast. No idea why that is the case...

Ebay/PayPal usually has your back with this kind of stuff. If you don't receive anything at all, make a claim or call them, they'll get you your money back)

Edit: if you used ebay or paypal that is) I didn't read carefully enough to notice you haven't actually said where you got it from. The credit card companies would probably return your money too if you make a claim. Debit cards - not so much.

There's a time limit for filing claims. If the product is still in transit as the time limit ends, get your claim started with a note that you are only filing in case the product doesn't show up.
