So the $45-60 ones :P (they got them on B&H too, the multi-brand one with interchangeable eyepieces)

Seems I can return the eyepiece but I like how the seller reiterates it's as described (guessing cuz I have to pay the shipping back), just would have been nice if they specified it only worked for Spotmatics and K1000s before I made the offer on it.

Pentax branded are the Refconverter-M and Refconverter-A. (See HERE and in the PF Accessories Database). The M version will suffice for an MX.

Also, the Olympus Vari-Magni OM works with a reversed image - robust piece.

All are pricey.

That one you got is from the screw-mount days and the image is reversed. The Spotmatics and K Series had a smaller viewfinder window than the M Series & newer film bodies.
