Which lenses were originally sold with which cameras (kit zooms)?

Does anyone know which "kit zooms" were typically sold with the following cameras when they were new?

Pentax MZ-S

Pentax PZ-1P

Pentax ZX-L (MZ-6)

Right now I have each of the above and have a couple lenses that I think probably were standard for these cameras, but I'm not quite sure. I got these lenses along with the ZX-L and a ZX-5N. The 5N recently succumbed to the mirror gear problem, so it is out of commission.
- SMC Pentax-FA 28-80mm F3.5-5.6, black, (I've used this with the black PZ-1P)
- SMC Pentax-FA 28-90mm F3.5-5.6, silver (a light lens, goes well with the ZX-L so far)

I've been wondering what lens in particular was usually sold along with the MZ-S when it first came out.

I have a couple Tamron tele's which I'm happy with for the longer focal lengths.

Thanks!

If we were to go off of old magazine advertisement I would probably say the 24-90 on the MZ-S

I'm wondering if the F series was out with the Z-1?

I can't read that brochure for the MZ-S

I may have just answered part of my question myself, with further hunting on the web. The article below says that the SMC Pentax-FA 24-90 zoom was introduced with the MZ-S - is that correct? The article also claims the MZ-S has a titanium frame, which I think is incorrect, as I believe it has a magnesium alloy frame. In fact, I have a 4-page Pentax brochure that states: "Body components made from a lightweight, extra-strong die-cast magnesium alloy."

That lens is actually the 24-90mm.
The page break is making the 90 look like 50.

Thanks for that old magazine ad, I had not seen that before. It shows the 24-90 zoom, so maybe that was the current lens for that camera. I've looked on ebay for them, seem to be a little higher than I want to spend right now, but I'll keep an eye open.

Thanks! I got the FA 28-90 with my ZX-L, so that's good. I don't have a FA 28-80 power zoom. I don't know if I really want a power zoom - do you know if the FA 28-80 is different in performance (other than the PZ) from the FA 28-80 I have now?

Actually, I think the kit lens for the PZ-1P/Z-1p was the SMC Pentax-FA 28-105mm PZ

Thanks. Actually this one looks more interesting to me. If I don't think I would use the power zoom, why carry the extra weight.

SMC Pentax-FA 28-105mm F3.2-4.5 AL [IF] Reviews - FA Zoom Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database
It looks like the PZ 28-105 is the lens pictured in the PZ-1p's manual. It is on the heavy side but I don't think that's due only to the PZ feature -- it also long enjoyed a reputation as being Pentax's best 28-105 optically (though I imagine the new D-FA 28-105/3.5-5.6 is probably better). There was also a (IMO inferior) Tamron rebadge non-PZ FA 28-105/4-5.6 IF that was sold for a while in between these two models.

The very light and compact FA 28-105/3.2-4.5 was a pretty late pre-film release, maybe shortly after the pretty-good FA 24-90/3.5-4.5 announced with the MZ-S?

There was also a similarly-styled FA 28-80/3.5-5.6 that I believe was also sold in MZ/ZX-series kits (including MZ-6/ZX-L) before the newer FA 28-90 mentioned above.

I think the FA-J 28-80/3.5-5.6 was probably the kit lens with the *ist film camera?

I had that lens for awhile, and TBH I wasn't that impressed with it. I used it both on film and my K-01, and the results didn't wow me.
I was actually a lot more impressed with the SMC Pentax-FA 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6

Yes, that's correct.
