A question about a rare camera

I have an old film camera, a Vixen VX-1. It seems to be a copy about a Pentax camera. And it has a Pentax K mount. I try to find out what Pentax model was the origine of this, because I didn't find any camera to resemble in the old cameras data base. Did I miss something? Did someone knows something?

Can't say I have ever heard of it. Some pictures of it would be great.

Just did a quick web search and my guess is that it is probably a Soviet clone.

Interesting; never saw this one before. Looks like so many SLRs OEM'ed by Cosina in the 1990's.

Description says it's ideal for astrophotography, with mechanical shutter and special focusing screen.
However manual exposure only with common 3 LED meter probably leaves something to be desired...

I think Chris got it. There is a similar Vixen VX-2 on Ebay with Cosina badging. Vixen of course is a well known Japanese astronomy products company.

Yes, Vixen is a very good Japanese, astro product company. I have some of their eyepieces, and are maybe the best I ever had. On par with Televue (which I don't have, I just borrowed some from friends). It seems they also have bought some design for astro lenses from Pentax about 2 or 3 years ago.

Now I am to tired to make some pictures of the camera, (i'ts 2:30 AM here), but their some good ones here

1/2000s shutter means it's the Cosina CT-1 Super. A very interesting version though!
